-53 % Scope 1 + 2 emissions at HQ since 2020 (-34 t CO₂e yr-¹, 3rd-party verified)

Responsibility Built-In – People, Planet, Product

We make technically demanding footwear in Poland because it lets us control quality and keep our impact transparent. The numbers below show where we already deliver – and where we’re still working.

¹ Comparison between 2091 baseline and 2021 meter data, using KOBiZE location-based grid factor (0.694 t CO₂/MWh). Verified in audit report #AE/03/05/2021 (CEB Aleksander Sudoł auditor registry number: 1704).

Lower energy, local power

  • 100% Renewable Electricity: Our facility operates entirely on renewable electricity. Our rooftop solar PV system (99.23 kWp capacity) generates approximately 50% of our annual direct energy use, and we source certified 100% renewable energy via a long-term contract for all additional grid electricity.
  • Building retrofit (insulation + LED + heat recovery on compressor) cut kWh/m² by >50 % vs. 2020 baseline – auditors’ report on file.

Next steps 2025

We plan to further reduce heating emissions by phasing out heating oil and switching to lower-emission, high-efficiency gas heating as a transitional measure (projected savings: 5-10 tCO2e/yr).

Why no CO₂ number yet?

We’re finishing a GHG Protocol Scopes 1-2 inventory with a local university; results will appear here Q4 2025. Until then we quote only data we can verify.

Short, transparent routes

70 % of our leather, textiles, soles and packaging come from suppliers within 50 km of our plant; >95% from EU/UK. Less freight, faster traceability.

MATERIALS & COMPLIANCE

  • Material Certifications: V-Label and OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified vegan microfibres are available (contact us for details or see Resources).
  • Chemical Compliance: We ensure all materials comply with EU REACH regulations. Supplier declarations are verified through procedures within our ISO 9001 certified quality management system.

People & community

  • Average tenure 11 years – every operator is on a full Polish employment contract with pension + healthcare.
  • We fund local intiatives like "Day of Jordanów City 2024" or local sports events like "MTB race Jordanow 2023"

Quality & governance

  • ISO 9001 + AQAP 2110 certified – NATO-grade process control.
  • IIoT dashboard monitors final assembly machines.

Circular economy

  • Waste Reduction in Production: We utilize circular knitting machines for knitted uppers, virtually eliminating cutting waste compared to traditional methods.
  • Leather Upcycling: In partnership with local manufacturers, we upcycle leather offcuts by grinding them for use as punching bag filler. This initiative diverts approximately 2,000kg of material from landfill annually.

Water savings

We have installed water-saving aerators on taps and showers throughout our facility. This initiative has resulted in a verified reduction in our domestic water consumption. Our process water usage is minimal (only a few hundred liters of demineralized water annually), making domestic water conservation a key area for improvement.
