IN THE BEGINNING THERE IS A PROJECT
It all starts with the work of Radek and Krzysiek, Tapi designers, who create a virtual twin from a shoe sketch. It is on this twin that we test, among other things, different color versions of a given model.

THE NEXT STEP IS SEWING THE UPPER
In the sewing room we perform a whole range of activities thanks to which
the final product becomes comfortable: from even seams, through bonding,
sealing, stamping, handle insertion, laser engraving or sewing
automatically.
SEWING ON A POST REQUIRES EXPERIENCE
Since so-called air sewing is nearly impossible to do without years of practice, the entire process is carried out by our experienced seamstress, Barbara.

LEARN THE STEPS THAT MAKE YOUR SHOES COMFORTABLE
What happens to the finished uppers? They go to the assembly department, where we connect them to the sole using one of our eight tried-and-true methods. At Tapi, we have so many of them!
SEWING DOESN'T END IN THE SEWING ROOM
One of the assembly methods is the OVERFLEX system, commonly known as stroble . It owes its name to
a special sewing machine used for sewing in a sockliner, especially in sports shoes.
BUT FIRST, FORM THE HEEL
To give the shoes a shape that will perfectly hold the heel of their owner, a special element
the reinforcing element is first heated and only then shaped - of course using a dedicated machine.

All for the greatest comfort for your fingers.
Installation methods
At Tapi we use several. Learn about the most popular ones: studding and overflex.
We do the studding with Italian machines and it mainly concerns formal and waterproof footwear, such as trekking shoes. Overflex, also called stroble, requires great precision. Thanks to it
sports shoes are soft and light.
ADHESIVE STUDDING
We manufacture a wide range of footwear. One of our products is studded waterproof shoes. To maintain waterproofness, we use modern glue studding machines. Thanks to them, we do not pierce the upper or waterproof membrane.
